Where to Watch Deadliest Catch
We mentioned geoblocks in the intro. If you don’t already know what they are, geoblocks are basically regional restrictions set by streaming services in order to control what content countries can access. It’s the same story for streaming services that are only available in certain countries. For instance, if you try to access Hulu outside of the U.S., you won’t be able to.

However, there is a way to bypass the blocks — with a VPN. All you need to do is connect to a VPN server in the same country as the content or service you want to access and voila, you’re in. Keep in mind, though, that some VPNs aren’t capable of unblocking all services, so it’s important to opt for a VPN that can, such as our recommendations in this article.
Which Streaming Services Have Deadliest Catch?
The Discovery Channel is the home of Deadliest Catch and season 19 premieres there with a two-hour episode on Tuesday, April 18 at 8 p.m. ET (for the U.K., it’s April 19 at 9 p.m. GMT). New episodes will then air weekly. If you have a cable or satellite subscription, you can watch it there.
You can also catch up with the show (or watch previous seasons) on the free Discovery GO app, although this is only available for U.S. viewers and you need a TV provider login to get access. If neither of those options are any good to you, though, you can also watch The Discovery Channel and its content online elsewhere, and there are a few ways to do this.

Deadliest Catch is also available on Discovery’s standalone streaming service, Discovery+, which is available in the U.S., Canada, Brazil, and parts of Europe and Asia. It offers a free seven-day trial and costs $4.99 per month with ads or $6.99 per month ad-free. Keep in mind, though, that during our testing, we found that it needs a country-specific payment method.
You can also watch season 19 and all previous seasons on fuboTV, which is a streaming service available in the U.S., Canada and Spain. It offers a free seven-day trial and during our testing, we were able to sign up for the service using a U.K. credit card.

You can also watch the Discovery Channel via a live streaming service such as Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, Sling TV and DirecTV Stream.
Deadliest Catch episodes and seasons are available to rent or buy on services like Amazon Prime, Vudu, Apple TV and Google Play.
Is Deadliest Catch on Netflix?
Unfortunately, Deadliest Catch is not available on Netflix. It’s unlikely that the show will become available on the streaming service too.

Cast, Characters & Plot: Deadliest Catch Season 19
Deadliest Catch is a reality series that’s been on our screens since 2005. It follows multiple crews aboard their fishing vessels in the Bering Sea during the Alaskan crab season, with their operations based in the Aleutian Islands Port of Dutch Harbor, Alaska. They battle freezing temperatures and intense discomfort, and often risk death due to rogue crab pots and traps.
Season 19 brings new challenges around the clock, with the crews having to fend off illegal fishing due to rising crab prices.
Josh Harris will not return for season 19 (or any future episodes) of Deadliest Catch due to the Discovery Channel cutting ties with him after learning about his criminal history. That also means that the boat FC Cornelia Marie and co-captain Casey McManus won’t appear in the documentary either.
The spinoff series, Deadliest Catch: Bloodline, in which Josh explores the Hawaiian coast with maps owned by his late father, has been taken off the Discovery Channel’s website and Discovery+.
Season 19 will once again be narrated by Mike Rowe in the U.S. (Bill Petrie in the U.K.). Below, we’ve listed the fishing vessels and crews that will appear in Deadliest Catch season 19.
Vessel: | Crew: |
---|---|
🚢 FV Northwestern: | Captain Sig Hansen Co-captain Mandy |
🚢 FV Time Bandit: | Andy Hillstrand Johnathan Hillstrand |
🚢 FV Summer Bay: | Captain “Wild” Bill Wichrowski Captain Linda Greenlaw |
🚢 FV Saga: | Captain Sophia “Bob” Nielsen Captain Jake Anderson |
🚢 FV Wizard: | Captain Keith Colburn Deckhand Jacob Hutchins |

🚢 FV Aleutian Lady: | Captain Sean Dwyer Rick Shelford |
