How to Watch Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi: Release Date on Disney Plus
The release date and trailer of Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi were revealed at D23 Expo. It’s set to premiere on Disney+ on October 26 and you can watch all six episodes right away.
Disney Plus is available in many countries across North America, Europe, the Asia-Pacific region and Latin America. If you already have an account and are in a country where Disney Plus is available, you can still access Disney+ by logging in. While Star Wars content looks to be available in all Disney+ regions, keep in mind that other content may vary in some countries due to licensing agreements.
If you’re in a country where Disney+ isn’t available yet, you can use a VPN to connect to a country that has Disney Plus. We’ll show you how to do this a bit later.
Where to Watch Other Star Wars Content
Disney Plus is the home of the Star Wars universe. All nine episodes and the spin-off movies are available in 4K high-definition, along with multiple live-action series, animated series and documentaries.
That means Disney Plus is the best platform for hardcore Star Wars fans, as well as newbies. There are a few orders you can watch the movies and shows in, such as chronological order or release date order, but it all depends on your preference. There are also fan chronologies to consider, like the Machete Order, the Godfather Order or the Rinster Order, all of which offer a slightly different take on the order you should watch them in.
Watching in chronological order means you’ll see the whole storyline unfold in sequence. However, some argue that this order isn’t the best choice. New fans will have to start with The Phantom Menace and will learn who Luke’s father is before the big reveal in The Empire Strikes Back (assuming anyone in our galaxy still doesn’t know that).
That said, watching in release date order might make it more difficult to understand the story. It’s up to you how you watch it, so we’ve listed the Star Wars timeline in both orders below.
Note that The Bad Batch, Andor and The Mandalorian all have confirmed upcoming seasons, while there are rumors circulating of second seasons for both Obi-Wan Kenobi and The Book of Boba Fett. We also haven’t included other upcoming Star Wars projects like Ahsoka or The Acolyte, as they’re hard to definitively place in the timeline without more information.
