Roku Announces New Tiny Models of Streaming Stick and Streaming Stick Plus
Roku just announced two redesigns of its Roku Streaming Stick and Streaming Stick Plus, turning them itsy-bitsy so they can go anywhere in your pocket.

Just when you thought streaming sticks couldn’t get smaller, Roku just made two models that are roughly the size of thumb drives.
Roku claims the new Streaming Stick and Streaming Stick Plus are “the most compact sticks on the market,” being 35% smaller than other brands and don’t compromise any performance or speed.
They’ve also been redesigned so that they don’t need external power sources, they can be powered from the TV. The sticks also are so slim they won’t block neighboring HDMI ports.
The Roku Streaming Stick will cost $29.99 and the Roku Streaming Stick Plus will cost $39.99. Both are available for pre-order on Roku.com; they will be available to purchase via major retailers on May 6, 2025.
This means the newly designed models are some of the most affordable Roku options. You can compare these new streaming sticks to other models in our Roku Pricing Guide. You can also check out our other Roku guides:
